International Conference
on
Nanoscience and Technology
Dec 17 -21, 2007

Advancement in Science and Technology have allowed for the broadening of horizons and the miniaturization of amazingly complex devices. Nanotechnology plays a key role in such advancements and is applied wherever scientists and technologists are grappling with the fundamental building blocks of matter, atoms and molecules and is considered as the industrial revolution of 21st Century. It is expected to have a major impact on science, technology and industrial sectors- electronics and computing, data storage, materials and manufacturing, energy, environment, health care and medicine, transportation and other economy sectors.

There is a growing need to raise awareness and knowledge of the opportunities and risks of nanotechnology, close the gaps within and between sectors of society to catalyze actions. Keeping this in view a five days International Conference- cum- Workshop on Nanoscience and Technology is going to be held on December 17-21, 2007 at the Ansal Institute of Technology (AIT), Gurgaon, (Near Delhi), India under the Co-sponsorship of University of Science and Technology at Lille, France; North Dakota State University (NDSU), Fargo, ND, USA.
