Ambassador J.C. Sharma has joined the Ansal Institute as an Honorary Advisor. Mr. Sharma is a distinguished diplomat who recently retired as Secretary, Government of India in the Ministry of External Affairs. He had served for about a decade as Counsel General of India in Vancouver & Chicago. Mr. Sharma is an acknowledged authority on India’s cultural relations with South East Asia.

He has authored some highly acclaimed books titled “Temples of Champa in Vietnam” and “Hindu Temples in Vietnam” on this subject. These are the first two books ever to be written in English Language on the temples of the ancient kingdom of Champa.

These books are the standard reference books used by research scholars working on Vietnamese art and the art of ancient kingdom of Champa.
