| Dr. Atul Kumar
obtained Master’s Degree from University of
Roorkee in 1991 and Ph.D from IIT, Delhi in
1997. His Doctoral Dissertation topic was
“Soliton properties and their switching dynamics
in optical fiber with saturating nonlinearity”.
Soon after finishing his Ph.D. he was offered
post doctoral research fellowship from Prof.
Y C Chung of Dept. of ECE, Korea Advanced
Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST),
South Korea where he worked on various aspects
of WDM based optical communication systems
including crosstalk effect on system performance.
