Mr. Rohit Kaushik, a regular faculty in Management, is working with Ansal Institute of Technology, Gurgaon since its inception i.e. from July 2000 onwards. Being a commerce honors graduate, he has done Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Finance from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, India. At AIT, Mr. Kaushik, is teaching various subjects like Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Income Tax Law, etc besides few other management subjects. At present, he is engaged in doing spadework for his Ph.D and has attended various Faculty Development Programmes and Workshops organized by GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi, Goa University and other Institutes.

Apart from taking lectures for both Graduate as well as Post Graduate courses in Finance & Accounts, Mr. Kaushik, is involved in multifarious activities in the Institute ranging from discipline maintenance, career counseling, marketing & promotional activities of the institute, students recruitment, presentations & seminars, organizing various cultural programs, co-curricular activities, educational tours & trip. As a Proctor & Faculty In-charge for Student Affairs, and member of Disciplinary Committee, Mr. Kaushik is responsible for over all Discipline in the institute, organizing of various extra co-curricular activities like Annual Day Functions, Festival Celebrations, Educational Tours & trekking programs, SPIC-MACAY concerts and various other society activities within the Institute. As a core member of the Institute's Marketing team, Mr. Kaushik, had participated and represented Institute at large numbers of Education Fairs & seminars and played an important role Career Counseling and recruitment of the students. For his overall contribution, he was honoured with "Faculty of the Year Award" in 2000-01.
In the last 7 years, as a part of Annual Day celebrations, Mr. Kaushik, has successfully organised live performances of Daler Mehndi, Jasbir Jassi, Palash Sen's Euphoria group, Dilbagh Singh, Joshilay group, Aakriti Kakkar, Mohini Singh & Shael Oswal to name a few. The Annual Cultural Festival, Manthan, has been highly acclaimed in the media and remains the most awaited event of the year among the student fraternity. As a part of the SPIC MACAY concert, Mr. Kaushik, has organised live performances of renowned Kathak dancers, Padamshree Smt. Uma Sharma, Padamshree Smt. Shovana Narayan, Mohiniyattam dance by Padamshree Smt. Bharti Shivaji, Kuchipudi dance by Sangeet Natak Awardees Guru Jayarama Rao & Vanashree Rao, classical performance by Pt. Raj Shekar Mansoor, Quawwali performance by famous Quawwal, Miraj Ahmed Nizami and rajasthani folk dance by Ustad Rahmat Khan Langa & his group.
Prior to joining AIT, Mr. Kaushik was working with Maral Overseas Ltd. Indore, a 100% export oriented unit of LNJ Bhilwara group of companies as an Executive in the MIS department. Maral Overseas Ltd. is the only integrated plant in India engaged in the production of readymade garments right from the spinning of Cotton, knitting of yarn, dyeing of knitted fabric till the manufacturing of finished garment ready for export. The work profile that Mr. Kaushik handled at Maral was related to preparation of MIS reports, Budgets and projections, Variance analysis, Utilization & Efficiency, Inventory control, studying and analyzing deviations etc. He has also worked with Nestle India Ltd. for a brief period.
An avid traveler and nature lover, Mr. Kaushik likes adventure sports and enjoys reading. He takes active interest in Dramatics and other Cultural events.
