Commander (IN, Retd.) Puja Chhabra Sharma holds a Masters degree in Commerce from St John's College. She subsequently obtained Masters degree in HRD Management(MHRDM) and a Diploma in Financial Services Management(DFSM), both from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Mumbai.

Dr. Puja Chhabra Sharma joined AIT in Mar 2007 after 14 years of multifaceted experience as a pioneer woman commissioned officer in Logistics Branch of the Indian Navy. She has rich hands-on experience in Logistics, Material Management, Supply Chain Management, Personnel Management and is well versed in meeting mission critical requirements of crises management. During the course of her Naval Service, she has been Deputy Director in the Directorate of Logistics Support at the Naval Headquarters; New Delhi that involved her in a whole gamut of Naval Logistics activities. She dealt in formulation of logistics policy matters in Ministry of Defence, relating to provisioning and procurement of equipment/spare parts for over 45 types of naval ships. As Deputy-in-Charge; Naval Base Logistics Organization, she has handled naval establishment and pay dispersal for over 50,000 personnel. She has been part of the Ministry of Defence Standardization department where she was required to work as Faculty for conduct of training courses for Defence and PSU officers. She has also undergone a website and net working course at the Institute of Standard Training, Pune.

Apart from academic and professional activities, she has been actively involved in a host of extra curricular activities; she has coordinated mega events like the Navy Ball and Femina Miss India contest. She is a keen outdoor person and a fitness freak.

Dr. Puja Chhabra Sharma is one of the faculties in Management Department at AIT and is taking classes for various programmes leading to MBA, BBA, BCA, BBM, Hotel Management and Mass Communication Courses and is actively involved in liaison between Institute and Corporate world.
