Dr.Parashu Ram did his PhD in Mathematics (Fluid Mechanics) from IIT Bombay and since then he is involved in various capacities in his field of specialization-Numerical Modelling and Fluid Mechanics.
He joined Centre For Atmospheric Sciences, IIT Delhi as Research Associate and retired as Senior Scientific Officer -I in the year 2001.He published 19 research papers in international / national journals and guided students for PhD degree.
Dr.Parashu Ram also visited LMD(CNRS) Paris(1987-88)in Scientist exchange programme and participated in international and national conferences and workshops.He was active teacher and was involved in graduate and postgraduate teaching for fifteen years at IIT Delhi.

At AIT, Dr.Parashu Ram is associated with teaching mathematics courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
