Ms. Nehi Sinha has done her MSc and BSc in Microbiology from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.She secured top merit position in BSc.She has submitted her doctoral thesis at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.

Her field of research included breast cancer and the role of insulin and aspirin in the restoration of impaired Interferon alpha level in breast cancer.During her research tenure, she also worked on a project by Philip Morris, USA.She was a co-investigator of the project.She has published several research papers in peer-reviewed International journals.She has also presented papers & posters in various conferences & seminars.

Before joining AIT, She was working as a scientific officer in Center for Science & Technology of Non-Aligned and other developing countries.There she has edited a book and was in the editorial board of the scientific newsletter.She has 6 years of research and work experience.

At AIT, She is associated with teaching various subjects of Biotechnology like Biochemistry, Molecular Biology etc.

Her areas of interest are Immunology, Cancer Biology and Protein Chemistry.Apart from teaching, she enjoys reading books and traveling.
