Dr. Neelam Vohra completed her Ph.D in Organic Chemistry from Panjab University Chandigarh and did M.Phil and M.Sc from Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra. She secured top merit position in B.Sc. Her field of research included Bridge-Head Nitrogen Heterocycles and Syntheses of Insect Sex Pheromones. Recently she has worked on Hetrocyclic systems having Thiazolo-Tetrazines. She has published her research papers in a journals of repute.

Dr. Neelam Vohra has had a long and illustrious teaching career spanning 25 years at both Under Graduate and Post Graduate levels. Prior to joining Ansal Institute she had worked as Head of Post Graduate Department of Chemistry in Mukand Lal National College Yamuna Nagar, a prestigious institution of Haryana. She was also officiating Head of Department of Biochemistry. She was a member of Advisory Council of the college.
Her flair for teaching is well supplemented by her involvement in academic activities. She has been the Teacher Representative of the Faculty of Science as well as a member of Board of Studies (UG & PG) of Kurukshetra University. She has worked many a times paper setter for Under Graduate classes of Kurukshetra University. She is also one of the Academic Counsellors of Chemistry for IGNOU and a member of Indian Science Congress.
Under her guidance many Departmental Promotional Activities were carried out successfully every year like Declamation Contests, Poster Competitions, Educational Tours, Guest Lectures, Science Quiz etc. She successfully initiated and implemented the use of Audio-Visual Aids in teaching. In her college she held various posts in "Science Forum" an active society of the college that promotes Science culture among students.
She was very active member of organizing committees for Blood Donation Camps, Sports Day and Annual Cultural Functions and a member of Discipline and Admission Committee of the College.
Last but not the least teaching is and will always remain her first love.
