| Mr. B.L. Punjabi completed
Hotel Management course from Institute of Hotel Management,
Pusa, New Delhi in the year 1971. Then he did a diploma
in wines from California Board of wines in 1973. He
is a member of Hotel and Catering International Management
Association (HCIMA), U.K.
Mr. Punjabi is a certified trainer in Hospitality
Management from Indian Society of Training and Development
(ISTD). He was on the faculty list of I.H.M. Pusa,
New Delhi for 15 months and I.H.M. Srinagar, Kashmir
for 5 years.
Mr. Punjabi joined Hotel Broadway, Srinagar, a 5
star hotel as Assistant Manager (F&B) and promoted
to Manager (F&B). Then he joined JKTDC as Manager
of their units and worked with them for a period of
3 years. He has also worked with Hotel Pamposh, Srinagar
as Manager for tenure of 1 year.
Mr. Punjabi has an experience of 15 years with Jay
Pee Group of hotels as Training officer looking after
the training needs of employees of their 5 star deluxe
hotels. He left Jay Pee as Additional General Manager
Training.
He had practical exposure of about 1 year at Hotel
Steignberger Frankfurter Hof, Frankfurt, Germany.
He went to Denmark (Copenhagan) on a fellowship from
DANIDA for one year and assigned hotel SAS Royal. |
