Dr. Anirban Das has completed his Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia University. He did his Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Calcutta University, then completed Master’s degree in Computer Application from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Dr. Das has also done M.Tech in Computer Science and Engg. from IIT, Delhi.

He was awarded from Calcutta University and JNU for his academic achievements.

Anirban Das has over 7 years of teaching experience in Engineering Colleges as Lecturer in Computer Science and has an experience of teaching MCA students in JNU (Jawahar Lal Nehru University), IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) and FORE School of Management and M.Sc students in JMI University as Guest Faculty for several years. Currently he is teaching MS and BS programs in Computer Science in capacity of Assistant Professor.

Teaching is a passion for him, at the same time he is deeply involved in research and development work for long times.

Earlier he had worked in the IBM-Bio Informatics Project in IBM, India Research Lab. His research interests are in machine vision and image analysis. His current research focuses on texture analysis, fuzzy based image processing, image retrieval, motion detection.

He is involved in several projects namely Digital Signature Verification, Automated Number Plate Recognition and some Biomedical image analysis.
